Kidney Donor Needed

Hello, name is Delmar Phanenhour, and I live in a small town in the Ottawa valley with my wife Anita.

I have stage 5 polycystic kidney disease, basically the end of my kidneys functioning.

We are making an appeal for a living kidney donor.

Why we are asking publically

My family Doctor and Nephrologist set a goal, that as I approached the
need for dialysis, I would begin the process to find a live kidney donor.

In Ontario, it's up to the recipient to find their own living donor. Not an easy process.

I have Stage 5 of my kidney disease, Anita and I have been searching for a live kidney donor trying any and all avenues, and time is getting desperately short.

My blood type is "O" negative, and that means a potential donor must match my blood type.

I have had all of my “pre transplant work up” and am ready to proceed with the actual transplant as soon as a suitable donor is found.
